On behalf of the 53 Division Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), we are pleased to invite you to participate in our Fundraising Meet and Greet Event with a Festive Holiday Party, to be held on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at the BMO First Canadian Place Conference Centre located at 100 King St W, Toronto. The doors will open at 1:00 pm, and service will begin at 2:00pm.
This year’s festive party promises to be an exciting event, with a range of prizes on offer for participants. Meet and mingle with 53 division officers over an assortment of Canapés, hors d'oeuvres and dainty sweets.
The event is being organized to raise funds for the CPLC Student Leadership Bursary Awards program at 53 Division, as well as to promote community engagement between the police and the public.
The CPLC in 53 Division identified youth education and employment as one of their main service priorities. One challenge facing our youth today is their lack of marketable skills for sustainable employment. Recognizing this challenge, the CPLC has established Student Leadership Bursary Awards to assist post-secondary students achieve marketable skills through further education and apprenticeship programs.
Your presence and participation in this event will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards making it a success. We believe that this event presents a unique opportunity to network, have fun, and give back to the community at the same time.
