Gateway Bike Hub is a community project that aims at reducing waste in landfills by collecting and fixing bicycles that may otherwise end up at a local dump

Officers collected donated bicycles from community members as well as from other Police officers. The bicycles were fixed by Gateway Bike Hub, at their facility, and 85 bicycles were brought to Project Breezy and handed out to local residents. Officers were able to secure donated bicycle safety equipment from Canadian Tire which was also handed out during the event. Officers taught road and bicycle safety to all residents who received a bicycle.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Starbucks on Saturday August 24th. It was great to see so many community members come out and connect over some coffee and treats to talk about a shared vision for our community.
